 Young Adult Ministry -

Young adults (18-35) joining together to make friends, enjoy entertaining events and grow together in Christ. We will discuss different topics and scripture with some great teachings on DVD.                 Kingdom Kids -

exists to lay a biblical foundation for kids to grow in their faith in Jesus Christ.  Bring your children, infant through 5th grade, to learn more about Jesus Sunday mornings at 10:30 and Wednesday evenings at 7:00.


 

               Generation 360 -

exists to grow youth inward by submitting to discipleship; upward in worship through lifestlye; outward in ministry and evangelism by reaching out in fellowship.  All teenagers grades 6 through 12 are welcome to join us in the fellowship hall on Sunday mornings at 10:30 and Wednesday evenings at 7:00 for a time of worship, fellowship and  Bible study.

 

 

Translation & Interpretation -

During our Sunday morning worship service, we provide slavic translation and sign language interpretation. 

 

Celebrate Recovery -

                                Celebrate Recovery Link      With Celebrate Recovery, we want to encourage fellowship and celebrate God's healing power in our lives as we work our way along the road to recovery.  This is a Biblically based 12 step program along with the eight principles of Celebrate Recovery.  It is a powerful ministry that helps people process emotional pain and have victory from life's hurts, habits, & hang-ups. This ministry is open to everyone regardless of age, and gender.  Come down and see us every Friday night at 7pm and feel the healing power of God as he delivers you from your hurt, habit or hang-up.

  Women's Ministry -

 Ladies of all ages are welcome to join together on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. (This ministry does not meet during the months of June - October). The evenings are a combination of praise and worship, Bible study and personal testimony.  It’s a great time to bring a guest to enjoy a relaxing and uplifting evening together. For more details and location call Hope Burt at 493-6118.  There is also a Women’s Bible Study every Wednesday morning at 9:15 a.m. (Please note that there is no study the months of June - October) Our group supports home missions and we hope to expand our areas of outreach as we anticipate future growth.    Men's Ministry -

Men’s ministry meets every 3rd Saturday of the month at 8:30 a.m. for breakfast, with a small devotional time. For more details contact: Bob Jarjisian at 493-4766. Our men also meet every 1st, 2nd and 4th Friday at the Venice Perkins Restaurant at 6:30 a.m. for a hearty breakfast.                Care Ministry -

This ministry has many dedicated people ready to assist those in our church family in their time of need.  When a "care call" comes in, prayer partners go to the hospital or to the home to offer prayer and encouragement.  We also serve the Lord in practical ways by preparing meals, doing light housekeeping, grocery shopping, providing transportation to their doctor's appointments, babysitting and doing lawn care.  This enables the family to recover spiritually, emotionally and physically.  For more details contact Ernie and Eleanor Stockhert at 493-2056.

 

 

 

 Anchor of Hope -

Anchor of Hope is a resource ministry that sows encouragement through the sharing of the Word of God.  It seeks to touch both those who are going through difficulties and those who are simply hungry to know more about God.  Anchor of Hope sows the Word of God into every situation it ministers to, with the end result being people having a greater revelation of the goodness of God and His great desire to work on their behalf.  The Word is sown through books, bookmarks, articles and tapes that share the uncompromising Word of God.  (Isaiah 50:4)For more details contact: Don and Marty Blair at 496-9144.     

 

 

Media Ministry - 

 

sound boardThe Media Ministry covers every form of audio and visual presentation that is used in the various ministries of New Life.  Media ministry workers may be involved in anything from the use of computers and presentation software to the operation of projection and sound systems. Music Ministry -  

guitarPraise and worship is a vital part of New Life.   This ministry is an expression of God’s gifting and talents in our church family. Music ministry is expressly for the purpose of glorifying God and leading others to know His presence.   Music ministry is a vital part of all our major services including congregational, group and solo music. As an outreach we have a gospel sing-along on Venice Beach each Friday evening one hour before sunset. These are a few of the many expressions of this active ministry.
