Taking Hold of God's Vision
We have a clear mission…
From the beginning, New Life has been a church family that is passionate about touching this community, our nation and the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. A lawyer once asked Jesus about His sense of priorities. Jesus' response was clear and poignant.
"'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'" (Matthew 22:37-39 NIV)
Jesus basically said "Love God and love what God loves, people." This directive has been our passion and God has blessed the work of our hands.
We need a better tool…
The New Life family has grown as God has touched lives through us. We have outgrown our current location here at the Galleria Plaza. Limited space and inadequate facilities are a constant challenge to our ability to nurture our ever expanding family. We need a better tool and larger resources to continue doing what Jesus would do for people here in the Venice area.
Now is the time to build…
The population of Florida is projected to double to 32 million people by the year 2015. The area around our new property is already allocated for the construction of 15,000 new homes within the next 5 to 10 years. "Taking Hold of God's Vision" is a bold and exciting commitment to build a tool that will meet the needs our growing family and the community on our door steps.
Now is the time to touch lives…
We each have a vital part to play in fulfilling the vision God has placed before us. Together we have the tremendous opportunity to impact our community and the world around us.
It's all about people
